Blake has worked in and around salons since she was 16 years old. She began working for Rooted a little over two years ago, and hopes to maybe one day become a stylist! She doubles as a stay at home mom to her three kids!
MANDI SANTOS
Assistant
Mandi has been in the industry since January 2023. She was a behavioral therapist but always dreamed of being a stylist to make people feel beautiful from the inside and out. Seeing clients faces light up from the experience and results, all while meeting amazing people is why she loves what she does. Mandi loves to hike with her dogs, do pure barre work outs, read science fiction and romantic time pieces, spend time with her family and indulge in her guilty pleasure (The Real Housewives). Her favorite product is the L’Oreal professionals curl expression hair mousse that can also be used for a smooth blowout and for curl definition.
DEIDRE CLARK
ADMINISTRATIVE Assistant
At a young age, Deidre discovered her passion for entrepreneurship. Her mother owned a hair salon and worked long hours behind the chair, while also running the business side of the salon. That was the beginning of her desire to help local entrepreneurs and professionals achieve their goals by providing them the best administrative support. In her spare time, she enjoys meeting new people, reading, writing, and traveling.

Emily is an accomplished hairstylist, specializing in blonding. She has been in the industry for two years and has a commitment to staying at the forefront of it. Emily provides a comfortable environment for clients, ensuring they feel valued and pampered!
MICHAELA PULEO
STYLIST
Michaela was a chemistry major in college and was going to pursue cosmetic chemistry because she always was interested in the beauty industry. Halfway through college, COVID hit and affected her entire experience, so she decided to take the leap and go to cosmetology school. She fell in love with hair and has been in the industry ever since (about two and a half years!)
